Sandy Valley hosted a triangular against Garaway and Fairless. The boys beat Fairless 48-26, and lost to Garaway 60-22. Posting two victories on the night were Hunter Stoffer and Cooper Hemming.

Wizards beat Lake Center

East Canton outscored Lake Center 41-20 over the middle two quarters on its way to a 63-41 victory. Down by three after the opening eight minutes of play, Savannah Yacklin scored 12 of her game-high 22 points in the second stanza as the Wizards took a 27-21 advantage into halftime.

Lady Cardinals dominate Newcomerstown, 64-18

Leading by two at the end of the first quarter, the Lady Cardinals used a big second stanza to propel themselves to a 64-18 win over visiting Newcomerstown. Sandy Valley outscored the Lady Trojans 22-2 in the second quarter, taking a 30-8 advantage into halftime.

Montana Boyer had games of 211-192 for a 403 in leading Sandy Valley post Triway 2,064-1,823. Bri Hemming had 224-162 for a 386, Rybecca Rennie had 132-139 for a 271, Kassi Thomas had 114-130 for a 244, Halley DeOrio had a 153, and McKayla Dennis had a 97.

Hornets play well in loss to Tusky Valley

In a tightly contested game between two evenly-matched teams, Tusky Valley earned a non-league matchup against host East Canton 43-42. The Trojans jumped to a 19-8 first-quarter lead, and took a 27-21 advantage to halftime.

Sandy Valley's Bryce brothers combined for 42 points during a 77-56 win over visiting Newcomerstown. Bryce Offenberger connected on four 3-pointers in the opening stanza and finished the night with 19 points and three steals.

East Canton hung tough with a very good visiting Strasburg club, before succumbing over the final 16 minutes. The Tigers outscored the Hornets 27-14 in the second half, pulling away to a 46-32 Inter-Valley Conference victory.
