The East Canton girls cross country team will conduct its annual 100-mile relay on Monday July 17. This will the 29th running of the event, which is the primary fundraiser for the team. This year's 100-mile relay will be the first event held on East Canton's new polyurethane track.

East Canton's 10U baseball team, sponsored by Ambaflex Manufacturing, went undefeated during the regular season, and went 3-0 in tournament play to win the league title, finishing up with a 16-0 record. The future Hornets beat Carrollton's Depot Bar and Grill 14-2 in the championship game.

Otte receives All-Ohio first-team accolades

It was a season to remember for the Sandy Valley softball team. The Lady Cardinals tied a school record for wins in a season as they posted a 25-4 record. The girls finished second in the Inter-Valley Conference with a 14-2 mark, and made it all the way to the regional finals.
