East Sparta torn down, remaining two elementary schools soon to set dates

Demolition of East Sparta Elementary School began Nov. 5.

Bricks from the building will be saved and set aside for the general public to have as keepsake souvenirs. The bricks can be obtained after the demolition is complete.

The demolition of the other elementary buildings has not yet been set. Abatement of asbestos is continuing on the buildings. Check upcoming issues of The Press-News or our Web site or call Sandy Valley Schools at 330-866-3339 for more information on the keepsakes or when the next schools are scheduled to be razed.
