Canton South graduate Brittany Farber, an Ohio Northern junior has been named 1st Team Academic All-OAC for the 2009 indoor and outdoor taack & field seasons. In addition to her 3.8 GPA, Brittany was a 5 time All-OAC runner on the year. In the OAC Indoor Track & Field Championships she placed 2nd in the 500 meter dash in a career best 1:18.80 as well as helping the 4x400 relay to a 2nd place finish. At the outdoor championships she finished 2nd in the 800 meter run in a personal best and team leading time of 2:18.24.In addition, she helped the 4 x 800 relay to a second place finish and the 4x400 relay to a season best time of 3:59.14 and a 3rd place finish. During the season she ran career bests in the 200, 300, 400, 500, & 800 meter runs. Her efforts boosted Ohio Northern as it won it's first ever OAC women's team championships in both indoor and outdoor track & field in 2009.
