Former Wildcat Justin Gill pitched on June 25 for the Peninsula Pilots at the historic War Memorial Stadium in Hampton, Va. The Pilots lost 6-4 to the Petersburg Generals.

Canton South graduate, Justin Gill, left, pitched for the Kent Golden Flash baseball team. He is the first to receive a scholarship in honor of Elden “Ty” Youngen. The scholarship was established by Youngen’s daughter, Dr. Lois Youngen, right. She was present at the May 16 game against Miami of Ohio to present the award to Gill.
