On Friday, March 19, from 6-8:30 p.m., a "Meet the Team" banquet and benefit dinner will be held for the Canton South baseball team.
Trent McIlvain, the new baseball coach, and senior players will address the attendees.
This event will be held at McCall's Restaurant and Banquet Center. The cost is $45/couple or $25 per person. A baked chicken dinner is planned. Call 330-206-8098 or e-mail mcilvain@cantonlocal.org for tickets.
Proceeds from this dinner will enable the team to update the baseball facility and provide the team with equipment to compete at the highest level possible.
