CREW CLASSES

AT OTTERBEIN

A 10-week session of CREW (Come, relax, educate and worship) will begin at Otterbein United Methodist Church on Wednesday, Jan. 20, and continue through March 24. Each week will start with a meal at 5:30 p.m. and classes for all ages will follow. Classes will be held for children through the sixth-grade. The teens will meet for a time to recharge their batteries, a time to hang out, get to know one another. Michaek Kracker will lead a Bible study titled, "Jesus: Man, Myth & Messiah." The Prayer Shawl Ministry will knit or crochet prayer shawls. Participants in the class do not need to know how to knit or crochet, as someone will assist them. Keith Brown, pastor of the church, will lead a group that will explore exactly what it means to be a follower of Christ. The WINC class-- Women in Christ-- will combine crafts, discussion, fellowship and a time to relax as they move through the weeks discovering God's will for their lives.

SCRAPBOOKING

TIME SET

The Louisville Assembly of God Church will have a mother-daughter scrapbooking evening on Friday, Jan. 22, from 6-10 p.m. Bring a snack to share.

INDOOR MINI-GOLF

The cost is $2 per person to play indoor mini-golf at the Canton Christian Home on Saturday, Jan. 30, from 1- 4 p.m. Refreshments will be for sale. Call Larry Burgett at 330-456-0004 for more information.

MT. TABOR TO PUT

FAITH ON TRIAL

On Jan. 31, from noon to 2 p.m., Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church will have a time of food, faith and fellowship. The pastor will follow his sermon series, "Faith on Trial," by having a faith forum informal question and answer session about faith and Christianity. Questions will be asked and discussed. If you plan to make a dish, contact the office at 330-488-1842 and let us know what you're bringing.

NEW VISION

TO PERFORM

New Vision, from Malone University, will perform at Crossview Worship Center on Sunday, Jan. 31, at 6 p.m. There is no admission charge. New Vision is a ministry team made up of six incredible vocalists who are not only good musicians, students and friends, but have a sincere love for the Lord and desire to serve Him with their lives. They have a wide selection of songs and styles including gospel, contemporary Christian, hymn arrangements, patriotic and secular favorites.

SUPER BOWL SUB

SANDWICH SALE SET

The Youth of Otterbein United Methodist Church will hold an annual Super Bowl sub sandwich sale. Orders will be taken until Feb. 3 and pick-up will be Sunday, Feb. 7 at 11:15 a.m..

Choices are ham, turkey, provolone cheese, Swiss cheese, lettuce and tomato. A one meat and one cheese sandwich will cost $3.75; two meats and 2 cheeses will be $5; a salad with roll will be $4. All sandwiches are made to order. Place an order by calling the church office at 330-484-2776.

INDIAN RUN

TO HOLD DINNER

On Feb. 13 Indian Run Christian Church will hold a Valentine dinner. Call the church for more information at 330-488-2938.

CHRIST MEMORIAL

SETS DINNER

The annual fellowship dinner and congregation meeting at Christ Memorial Church is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 24, following the 10 a.m. worship service. The service is arranged by the Loyal Workers Class. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish to share, and also a table setting. Rolls and beverages will be provided.

Board of trustees president Ed Michaels will preside for the business session. All church members are encouraged to attend.
