CONCERT AT

CROSSVIEW

The Daughters of Zion Trio will be in concert at Crossview Worship Center on Sunday, Jan. 17, at 6 p.m. Admission is free.

MAGNOLIA UM TO

TEACH 'FIREPROOF' CLASS

The Magnolia United Methodist Church will start a six-week small group study on Sunday, Jan. 17, at 6 p.m. based on the movie, "Fireproof." Any husband or wife desiring to strengthen their marriage are welcome. Childcare will be available.

LUNCH SERVED

The Otterbein United Methodist Church will hold a ham loaf lunch Sunday, Jan. 17, 11:30 am. The menu includes individual ham loaves, potato, vegetable, applesauce, roll and butter, beverages and dessert. Cost is adults, $6, for children age 6-12, $3 and age 5 and under, free. The lunch is open to the public. Carryouts will be available.

CLOTHING

GIVE-AWAY SET

The East Canton Church of God will hold a clothing give-away on Wednesday, Jan. 20, from 9:30-11 a.m. This church is located at the corner of State Routes 44 and 172.

CREW CLASSES

AT OTTERBEIN

A 10-week session of CREW (Come, relax, educate and worship) will begin at Otterbein United Methodist Church on Wednesday, Jan. 20 and continue through March 24. Each week will start with a meal at 5:30 p.m. and classes for all ages will follow. Classes will be held for children through the sixth-grade. The teens will meet for a time to recharge their batteries, a time to hang out, get to know one another. Michaek Kracker will lead a Bible study titled, "Jesus: Man, Myth & Messiah." The Prayer Shawl Ministry will knit or crochet prayer shawls. Participants in the class do not need to know how to knit or crochet, as someone will assist them. Pastor Keith Brown will lead a group exploring exactly what it means to be a Christ follower. The WINC class - Women in Christ - will combine crafts, discussion, fellowship and a time to relax as they move through the weeks discovering God's will for their lives.

CONNECTION

LUNCHEON SET

On Thursday, Jan 21, at 11:30 a.m., Canton Christian Woman's Connection will hold its monthly luncheon. The Gala Giveaway will be held at the North Canton Civic Center. Lisa Haley will be the speaker. The cost is $13 and includes the meal. Reservations can be made by calling 330-453-8289 or e-mailing dsoccermom12@hotmail.com.

SCRAPBOOKING

TIME SET

The Louisville Assembly of God Church will have a mother-daughter scrapbooking evening on Friday, Jan. 22, from 6-10 p.m. Bring a snack to share.

INDOOR MINI-GOLF

The cost is $2 per person to play indoor mini-golf at the Canton Christian Home of Saturday, Jan. 30, from 1- 4 p.m. Refreshments will be for sale. Call Larry Burgett at 330-456-0004 for more information.

MT. TABOR TO PUT

FAITH ON TRIAL

On Jan. 31, from noon to 2 p.m., Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church will have a time of food, faith and fellowship. The pastor will follow his sermon series, "Faith on Trial," by having a faith forum informal question and answer session about faith and Christianity. Questions will be asked and discussed. If you plan to make a dish, contact the office at 330-488-1842 and let us know what you're bringing, .

INDIAN RUN

TO HOLD DINNER
