EAST CANTON AREA

WERNER INN

Santa Claus will visit Werner Inn on Sunday, Dec. 13, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Mrs. Claus and at least one of Santa's elves will also travel from the North Pole to visit East Canton. Cookies and punch will be available. Everyone is invited to bring a camera and kids can bring their lists. No reservations are required.

TO PROVIDE 'CHRISTMAS

MIRACLE' FOR FAMILY

"Breakfast With Santa" will be held on Saturday, Dec. 12, 8 a.m. to noon, at the Center Church of the Brethren, 2801 Ravenna Ave. N.E., Louisville. Tickets are $5 per person and all proceeds will help a local family of five to have a "Christmas miracle." The mother in the family has severe health problems, and the father was just recently laid off at his place of employment. A raffle is also being held, and tickets can be purchased in advance or at the event. Call 330-605-8070 for more information.

O2 TO HOST SOUP

WITH SANTA

The O2 Ministry of Otterbein United Methodist will host "Soup with Santa," on Sunday, Dec. 13, beginning at 4:30 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Claus will greet the children and take photos with them. Refreshments including a variety of soups, cookies and beverages will be available. The O2 Ministry Worship will begin at 6 p.m. Childcare will be available as well as a class for children in pre-school and lower elementary grades.

SANTA TO ARRIVE

IN FIRE TRUCK

IN EAST SPARTA-SANDYVILLE

Residents of the East Sparta Fire District are encouraged to keep watch for the arrival of Santa this weekend.

With help from his friends at the East Sparta Volunteer Fire Department and Tri-Division Ambulance, Santa will be escorted through the streets of Sandyville and East Sparta. Along the way, he will visit with the children of the community.

On Saturday, Dec. 12, Santa will travel the streets of Sandyville starting at 6 p.m. Santa will then travel to East Sparta at approximately 6:45 p.m., to travel through town and meet with the children.

Parents are asked to have a porch light on and watch for the flashing lights of the fire truck. Santa will be available at the road for visits and pictures. Children will each receive a small goody bag courtesy of the East Sparta Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
