The Student Council and Ruth Cartwright (mother of a senior student) are reaching out to homeless people in the county by helping American Rescue workers.

The students, led by seniors, from left, Tyler Baier, Carly Seeman, Courtney Mitchell and Melissa Marnin, collected necessary items such as toothbrushes, soap and shampoo to donate to the American Rescue Workers, an organization designed to help homeless males get back on their feet. Mrs. Cartwright suggested the project, Student Council members organized it, and the student body came through by donating many items to the cause.

A generous contribution was also given by Dr. Philip J. Wells and Dr. Benjamin R. Cook with the Canton South Dental Group.
