UMW TO HAVE

CHRISTMAS

MEETING

The United Methodist Women will meet on Wednesday, Dec. 3, for their Christmas meeting. The gathering will be at the Werner Inn in East Canton at noon. Call 330-488-1842 for more information.

BIBLE STUDY AT

MT. TABOR

On Mondays at 7 p.m. a Bible study is held at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church. Call 330-488-1842 for more information.

THANKSGIVING

SERVICE ANNOUNCED

The Community Thanksgiving service will be held at the East Sparta Christian Church on Sunday, Nov. 23, at 7 p.m. A "linger longer" time is planned for after the service.

ST. JAMES TO SERVE

SWISS STEAK

On Sunday, Dec. 7, St. James Church in Waynesburg will host a dinner. Penne pasta or Swiss steak will be served along with salad, dessert, roll and drink. The cost will be $7 for adults and $4 for children.

MARRIAGE SEMINAR

OFFERED

Marlboro Christian Church at 9383 Edison Street in Alliance will host a marriage seminar on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 8 a.m. to noon. Skills for a healthy marriage will be presented by Christian training Ministries. The cost is $5 per person which includes the reception on Friday, lunch on Saturday, printed materials and childcare. Register by Nov. 21 by calling 330-935-2161.

GOODWILL CLASS HOLDS PIZZA PARTY

The Goodwill Bible Class at Christ Memorial Church met Nov. 9 for a pizza party, following the morning worship. A variety of pizzas were made by Bill and Nancy Walter. Eileen Lotz helped serve. Kate Clapper asked the blessing for the meal, which included salad and dessert.
