In honor of 40 years, Stark MRDD launches new user-friendly Website

In honor of the 40th anniversary of Stark Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities, the agency has recently launched a new user-friendly Wesite.

The updated site boasts a number of new features that makes the Website easy to view and navigate. Visitors can access the site by visiting www.starkmrdd.org.

A streaming video of The Rights of Ohioans complete with American Sign Language interpretation, gives individuals with hearing impairments the opportunity to view and apply for current job postings. Stark MRDD apparel can also be purchased by visiting the "Shop MRDD Wearables" link on the home page.

The clothing page offers an assortment of Stark MRDD apparel in a variety of colors and sizes. Items include collared shirts, long-sleeve T-shirts, sport shirts, sweatshirts, cardigan, sweaters, hooded sweatshirts and baseball caps.

In addition to the new features, the Website provides an opportunity for community members to voice concerns, questions, or share comments related to the agency through the Stark MRDD Blog.

"The Stark MRDD blog is a great way to share valuable information and to get questions answered," said Pat Fehlman, director of Public Information for Stark MRDD.
