What games are you playing this summer? Visit our Web site to tell us & to read what others are doingJuly 2, 2008
By KAREN MUNDY The Press-News Look this week for a new poll on the home page of The Press-News Web site, www.the-press-news.com The new poll will be about new games and family activities that you have enjoyed this summer. Corn hole and ladderball seem to be the new "in" games of the summer. Bocce, golf, tennis, horseshoes and volleyball are always favorite outdoor games. Of course, in the pool, we have to hear the annoying "Marcooo-----Poloooo" games going on. So, visit our site and tell us about your favorite game of the summer. The site will have several choices listed on the home page. The comment section will also give you an opportunity to tell why you chose one of the games on the list or you can tell us about other activities your family or friends love to do together. In the Citizens Journalism section on the left of the home page, visitors can also send in photos, stories, opinions and even videos of their summer activities or anything else they feel would be appropriate and fun to share with others. Have you voted on how far the Indians will go this year? The final vote on the site about how well the Cleveland Indians will do this season is as follows: * Above .500 - 18 percent; * Central Division Champions - 15 percent; * American League Champions - 6 percent; * World Series Champions - 21 percent * None of the above - 37 percent.
