Stark County schools earned a total of $6,200 during the BellStores static sticker campaign throughout the 2007-08 school year.

The Campbell Oil Company, parent company of BellStores, donated $200 weekly to benefit Stark County academic programs. Since it began this campaign in April of 2003, the Campbell Oil Company has donated a total of $28,650 to Stark County Schools.

All school districts in Stark County had a chance to win weekly. On Thursday morning, the BellStores Bug vehicle arrived at one of Stark County BellStores and the location was announced on the My 101.7 FM Morning Show. The first individual to arrive with a school static sticker on their vehicle received a $50 BellStores Cash Card for themselves and $200 was donated to their school district's academic programs.

During the 2007-08 school year, school supporters earned their districts the following: Alliance City-$200, Canton City-$600, Canton Local-$800, Central Catholic $200, Osnaburg Local-$400, Fairless Local-$1,200, Plain Local-$200, Heritage Christian $600, Jackson Local-$600, Lake Local-$400, Marlington Local-$200, Massillon City-$200, Sandy Valley Local-$400 and Tuslaw Local-$200.

Stark County BellStores will continue to hand out free school spirit static stickers for each Stark County high school. To obtain a static sticker supporting your school, visit any area BellStores. The campaign has been suspended for the summer and will resume with the new school year in the fall.

A complete listing of rules and regulations is available at every location and at the locally owned and operated Campbell Oil Company, with corporate offices on Erie Street in Massillon.
