Taylor and Maria Diehl, siblings who attend Sandy Valley Schools, both received honors at the state science fair held in Columbus.

Maria earned a "superior" for her project on the affect of music style on test performance. Taylor received an "excellent" on his project about how temperature affects the length of a butterfly's metamorphosis.

Taylor and Maria had been chosen at Sandy Valley to go to the district science fair at Mount Union College. From there, they were the only two chosen from Sandy Valley to go on to Columbus for the state science fair (a superior rating is needed).

Taylor and Marie, children of Doug and Pam Diehl of Waynesburg, are pictured in front of The Ohio State University football stadium.
