UM MEN TO HAVE

BREAKFAST

The United Methodist Men will have a breakfast on Saturday, June 7, 7:30 a.m. at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church in East Canton. All men and boys are welcome.

YOUTH FOR

UNDERSTANDING

TO MEET IN SPARTA

Youth For Understanding will hold an informational meeting at the East Sparta Christian Church on Saturday, June 7, 10 a.m.

Anyone interested in becoming a host family for the school year is invited to attend. Marian Gier, host mother, and David Liu of China, who has been staying with her this school year, will also be there to answer questions.

TRINITY TO HAVE

YARD SALE

The annual Trinity Evangelical Lutheran yard sale will be June 14, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A food stand as well as a bake sale will be available. In case of rain the sale will be in the church basement. Matching funds from the sale will be provided by Thrivant and will be used to replace sidewalks around the church. Lots of merchandise for all ages will be available.

ALIVE FESTIVAL

STARTS JUNE 18

The Alive Christian Music Festival will be June 18-21 this year. The event place at Clay's Park in Canal Fulton. Music, messages, entertainment, food and lots of fun activities will all be a part of the event. Featured artists include EleventySeven, The Turning, Casting Crowns and Chris Tomlin. Brady Quinn of the Cleveland Browns will speak on June 21. For more information go to www.Alive.org.

CANTON CHRISTIAN

WOMEN CONNECT

The Canton Christian Women's Connection will host a monthly brunch on Thursday, June 19, 9:30 a.m.

The brunch, which is held at the North Canton Civic Center, will feature Janet James. She will share about her quilt collection. The speaker will be Gretta Runyan, who will tell how she has put the pieces of her life together for a perfect fit. Diane Herris will provide vocal music.

SPAGHETTI DINNER TO BE AT MT. TABOR

On Saturday, June 28, from 4-7:30 p.m., spaghetti will be served at Mt. Tabor Church in East Canton. Proceeds from this dinner will go to The New Horizon School in Paraguay. Call 330-488-1842 for more details.

GOLF SCRAMBLE TO BENEFIT CANTON CHRISTIAN HOME
