Fremont Rodocker

Fremont Marshall "Doc" Rodocker, 90, passed away Feb. 22 in Sun City, Ariz.

He was born in East Sparta on Aug. 26, 1917, to Melvin and Catherine Rodocker.

Mr. Rodocker retired from Babcock & Wilcox in 1979, after 29 years of service. In 1941 he married Lula McKelvey and they lived in the East Sparta area until moving to Sun City, Ariz. in 1983. She preceded him in death in 1993, after 51 years of marriage. Also, he was preceded in death by brothers, Adrian, in 1921, and Ralph, in 2006.

He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Caldwell Masonic Lodge No. 330 and Order of Eastern Star No. 368 in Bolivar.

Survivors include a son, Marvin Rodocker and daughter, Joyce (Donald) Selby, of Canton; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be Saturday, April 12, at 11:30 at Otterbein U. M. Church, 6025 Shepler Church Ave. S.W., Navarre. Family will receive visitors at 11 a.m.

Best Funeral Services, Inc., in Peoria, Ariz. was in charge of arrangements, 623-486-1955.
