Dear editor:

Thank you to the residents of East Sparta and the surrounding communities.

You have helped the Scouts of Troop 38 earn money towards summer camp by attending the annual chili supper.

Summer camps is a week of having fun while learning new skills such as lifesaving, environmental science and safe firearm handling. Without your support it would be more difficult to fund the activities as the cost continue to rise.

We thank you again for supporting Troop 38.
