Lady Cardinals getting ready for tournament action

Sandy Valley lost in straight sets to Garaway 25-14, 25-17, 27-25.

Alyssa Sines had nine points, 14 assists and 10 digs; Baylee Offenberger had eight kills and three digs; and Addie Kirkbride had five kills and two digs.

The Lady Cardinals dropped a 25-16, 25-18, 28-26 decision to Hiland.

Sines had nine points, 12 assists, four digs and three kills; and Kaitlynn Steele had eight kills and two points.

The girls lost to Strasburg 25-13, 25-14, 25-12.

Izzy Hyson had 10 digs and 13 receptions; Sines had 15 digs, six assists and five receptions; Courtney Snyder had eight receptions and nine digs; Alexis Zehnder had 11 receptions; Hannah Streamo had six digs;

The Lady Cardinals (3-17) were to battle Ridgewood on Oct. 10, before closing out the regular season hosting Tusky Central on Thursday, Oct. 13.

Sandy Valley received the 12th seed and will travel to West Muskingum (#10) on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 6 p.m. The winner will take on top-seeded Buckeye Trail on Saturday, Oct. 22.
