Cardinals compete at Pickerington Invitational

Chloe Thomas led the Lady Cardinals to a 12th-place finish this past Saturday at the Pickerington North Cross Country Classic.

Thomas placed 43rd with a time of 23:12.12.

Kiannah Sarver was 45th in 23:17.16, Alex Howell was 72nd in 24:06.97, Mercedes Sarver was 103rd in 25:09.55, Ruby Behm was 134th in 26:44.85, Emily Miller was 163rd in 27:54.43, Natalie Weber was 177th in 28:21.53, and Maggie Lampe was 184th in 28:37.73.

Worthington won the girls title with 25 points as all five runners placed in the top 10.

Rounding out the top 10 were Marysville with 85, Mount Gilead with 135, Carrollton with 136, New Albany with 151, Logan with 159, Westerville North with 204, Fairland with 218, Groce City with 234 and River View with 295. The Lady Wildcats were 12th out of 23 teams with 330.

Aleks Rymer placed 43rd with a time of 19:23.86 as the boys finished 13th out of 21 teams.

Michael Lewton was 70th in 20:08.64, Nash Monroe was 77th in 20:14.27, Dean Frietag was 117th in 21:24.21, Jeffrey Edwards was 136th in 21:51.95, Bronson Frank was 160th in 22:39.81, Isaac Knight was 162nd in 22:45.79, Nick Cappillo was 170th in 23:03.36, and Austin Owens was 184th in 23:30.23.

The Cardinals will compete in the Newcomerstown Invitational this Saturday, Sept. 3.
