The Sandy Valley High School cross country team recently completed its annual 100-mile relay fundraiser.

The event is used to raise money to help send the cross country members to their annual training camp.

Team members were divided into four different groups in which each member ran one mile at a time until the 100-mile goal was complete. Team members who were not running enjoyed the company from fellow supporters and passed the time playing corn hole and euchre.

The goal of 100 miles was completed in 2 hours 42 minutes and 10 seconds. This year's time was 10 minutes faster than last year's relay.

The cross country team and its members would liked to thank all the donations that were made to this years relay. Anyone that would still like to donate to the program may send the donations to coach Greg Howard at 5362 State Route 183 NE Magnolia, Ohio 44643.
