The Sandy Valley boys and girls track teams recently had its banquets and passed out awards to deserving athletes.
This also marked the farewell to two of Sandy Valley's best runners, Andra Lehotay and Corbin Brown.
Lehotay, who will be taking her running talents to Walsh University next season, took home the MVP award. She teamed up with Elaina Kirkpatrick, Halie Sciury, and Olivia Costello for first in the 1,600 meter relay while getting individual honors in the 400, 800 and 1,600.
Jessica Dix picked up the award for most points from a field athlete while Sciury picked up the award for most points from a track athlete. Sciury was a state qualifier in the long jump.
The Coaches Award went to Emily Pomesky while most improved went to Kirkpatrick.
On the boys side, Brown, who will be attending Capital University for both track and cross country, took home the MVP award.
Justin Pfouts had the most points from a field athlete while Aleks Rymer took home the award for most points from a track athlete.
Connor Finnicum earned the most improved award while John Wallace picked up the Coach's Award.
