The East Canton boys basketball team improved to 2-5 on the season with an 88-45 conquest of Canton Heritage Christian last Friday night at the Babe Stearn Center.
After a slow first quarter that saw the visitors muster just a 6-4 advantage, the Hornets poured in 31 markers to build a 37-13 lead by halftime.
Junior Hayden Miller had another big night, with five treys and 25 points. Senior Cody Reichard also scored well with 22 points.
Classmate Alec Pennell added 16 points and Drew Heitger saw double figures for the first time with a 14-point performance. Junior Clay Libertore added eight points and sophomore Bryce Moldovan three.
