EC girls win two bowling matches

The East Canton girls bowling team won two of three matches last week to stand at 3-6 on the season.

At Kent Lanes, the Lady Hornets downed Streetsboro 1090-1046. Leading East Canton was Sadie Knepper with a 247. East Canton won the Baker games 95-121, 141-97, and 136-111.

At College Bowl, East Canton fell to Ravenna Southeast 1448-1259. Kyla Passwaters led EC with a 388, followed by Knepper (253), Renee Greathouse ( 231), Marisa Whaley (197), and Emily Stinchcomb (190).

Ravenna also won the Baker games 138-113, 128-106, and 127-100.

East Canton defeated Canton Central Catholic 1154-1063. Knepper led the team with a 275 amd Greathouse rolled a 232. East Canton won two and tied one Baker game.

The East Canton boys improved to 5-4 with a win over Streetsboro last week but fell to Ravenna Southeast.

Isaac Haas led the Hornets to a 1860-1487 win with a 412. Brother Jonas rolled a 399 as did Nick Wagner. Tyler Aller rolled 327 and Justin Sutton 323.

East Canton swept the Baker games 156-115, 152-150, 159-126.

Wagner led EC with a 401 in a 1853-1779 loss to Southeast. Sutton was next (395), followed by Jonah Haas (343). Isaac Haas rolled a 314.

East Canton won the Baker games 207-202 and 214-174 but fell in the other 171-157.

The Hornets fell to Canton Central Catholic 1681-1577. Jonas Haas led the team with a 403, Wagner totaled 336, and Isaac Haas 287.

East Canton won all three Baker games.
