Boys bowling team splits matches, girls drop two

The East Canton boys bowling team split matches last week, losing to Coventry and defeating Akron Kenmore.

Coventry downed the Hornets 2272-2127. In the individual games, Jonas Haas compiled a 388 and Isaac Haas a 383. Tyler Aller rolled a 335 and Nick Wagner 330.

East Canton downed Kenmore 1962-1668 to improve to 3-2 on the year. Wagner led the Hornets with a 347 and Justin Sutton followed with 335. Jonas Haas totaled a 325.

The girls team dropped matches to both Coventry and Kenmore. Coventry rolled a 1932-1572 win. Kyla Passwaters led the team with a 303 and was followed by Renee Greathouse (260), Emily Stinchcomb (245), Marisa Whaley (225) and Sadie Knepper ( 218).

East Canton fell to Kenmore 1446-1331. Knepper had a 251, Whaley 223, Passwaters 191, Greathouse 183, and Emily Wyer 171.
