Chris Scarpino will enter his second season as the girls bowling coach at Canton South High School and experience will be a concern as his roster will consist of four sophomores and three freshmen.
"Every girl on this team bowled in a summer league and has really improved from last season," said Scarpino of his team's dedication to the success of the program.
The big returnee for the Wildcats is sophomore Tara Gates. Gates, a year ago, was selected to the East/West All-Star Team and was named second team all-conference. She finished fifth at the Stark Sectionals and averaged a 169 on the season.
The other returnees from a season ago are sophomores Brooke Milhoan (151 average), Roxy Truax (108 average) and Heather Haynam (93 average).
Those who are looking to get some varsity experience are freshman Tori Gates and Desiree Demeo.
