Recently, the East Canton Hornet girls cross country came together one last time to remember their 2012 cross country season and recognize those girls who stood out throughout the season.
Earning special awards on the evening were Erika Matie (Best Rookie), Megan Gothard (Hornet Hustle), MacKenzie Vincent (Most Valuable Runner) and Rachel Vincent (Most Improved).
The girls cross country team will have new competition in 2013 as the team will now compete in the Inter-Valley Conference.
