Lady Cards wins first two matches of season East Canton drops matches to Sandy and Fairless during tri-match

Sandy Valley's volleyball team is now 2-0 on the season after defeated Tuslaw and East Canton in a tri-match on Saturday.

Sandy Valley defeated in two games-- 25-12 and 25-4.

Top server in that match was Cardinal Kelli Mohr, who had 12 points. Mavis Groff of Sandy led in kills, with nine. Mohr also led in assists, with 16, while her teammate Briana Schubert was the top defensive player with eight digs.

No information was available for East Canton.

The Lady Cardinals also downed Tuslaw, 25-19 and 25-14. Schubert led in service points, with 12 points, and digs, with eight. Kill leader was Brittney Tindall of Sandy (10), and Mohr led in assist, with 16.

Tuslaw defeated the Hornets 25-23 and 25-13. No other information was available.
