Two EC bowlers advanced to sectionals

Two East Canton bowlers advanced in the sectionals. Those bowlers were Letitia Bittinger and Tyler Long.

In the Portage Trail Conference, Long averaged 159. His high game was 190, and his high series was 342. Long's total pins knocked down in PTC play was 1,911. Overall, his average was 160, his high game was 233 and high series was 342. Overall, Long knocked down a total of 4,162 pins.

Long is a junior who qualified for districts with a 616 series (182, 201, & 233). He was PTC-County honorable mention for bowling this year. He averaged160 throughout the season.

In league play, Bittinger averaged 157. Her high game was 192 and her high series was 363. Her pin total in league play was 2,519. Overall, Bittinger averaged 156, her high game was 201, and her high series was 363. Overall, Bittinger knocked down 5,605 pins.

Bittinger is a junior co-captain of the team who averaged 157 during the season in the Portage Trails Conference. She was selected to the second team All PTC- County Team. She bowled a 573 series at sectionals (201, 167 and 205). At districts, she bowled a 515 series (151, 162 and 202).
