NICC KIDS SPORTS TO START

NICC sports is offering T-ball and baseball for players ages 3-16, in May and June. Players from any community are welcome to join this fun and low-key sports league.

Churches are encouraged to bring a team of their youth to play. Cost is $40 per player and $35 for any additional players. Each player gets a free ticket to a Cleveland Indians game in May.

NICC ADULT SPORTS TO START

NICC sports is now registering adult, 14 and over, to play summer slow-pitch softball. NICC offers both a men's league and coed league to play in. Games are played once a week, May through July.

Individuals, a group of friends, or a whole team can join. Churches are encouraged to bring a team to play.

A NIGHT AT THE RACES SET

The Canton South Baseball Association of Stark County will be holding "A Night At The Races" fundraising event on May 1. The cost will be $20 per person and will include a catered dinner, assorted raffles, and prizes.

All proceeds will benefit the improvement of equipment and fields within the organization. Reservation information is available at our Web site www.csbastark.org.

Close out date for reservations will be March 29.

CS BASEBALL NIGHT SET AT DQ

Dairy Queen in the Southgate Shopping Center is planning a free cone day on Thursday, March 11, from 4:30 -7:30 p.m.

Donations for the cones will go to the Canton South Baseball Association of Stark County. Dairy Queen will also donate $1 for every blizzard sold during that times slot.

MONTE CARLO NIGHT SET

The Sandy Valley Athletic Boosters are having their annual "Monte Carlo Night" on Saturday, April 10, at Cibo's Restaurant in Waynesburg. Along with a delicious meal, there will be a live auction with Joe Owens.

Ticket price of $25 includes chicken, pasta, salad, roll, and desert along with an open bar.
