The Sandy Valley gymnasts wrapped up their season at the NEGC Championship Conference at Massillon High School. Five schools, and approximately 60 athletes competed at the championship, and the top 15 gymnasts were awarded in each event.
Those gymnasts who placed for Sandy Valley on the vault were Brittany Tozzi in seventh place, Caycee Calkins in ninth place and Mavis Groff in 12th place.
On the bars, Tozzi finished in fourth place, Calkins in ninth place and Groff in 15th place.
Lady Cardinals placing on the beam were Hannah Huston in 10th place and Tozzi in 13th place.
On the floor, Tozzi finished in seventh place and Calkins came in at 12th place.
All around, Tozzi finished in fifth place, Calkins in ninth place and Huston rounds out the scoring, coming in at 11th place all around.
