Raymond Helmick, of East Sparta, has thrilled young and old, as he has made his Santa appearances throught the greater Stark County area. A few years ago this 88-year-old lady and her grandchild had their photo taken with "Santa" at the Canton Centre Mall. She was thrilled, since she said she was never able to have the privilege of sitting on Santa's lap as a youngster. "Santa is for all ages," is what Helmick learned through his years of being Old St. Nick.
