Immunization requirements for school attendance in Ohio has changed.

All students entering seventh grade in the fall are now required by Ohio law to show proof of the following immunizations before starting school:

/ TDaP vaccine to protect from tetanus, diptheria and pertussis.

/ Meningococcal (A, C Y, W-13) vaccine to protect from Meningitis.

Any seventh grade student who has not received both of these vaccinations will not be permitted to attend school until there is proof of immunization.

These shots can be administered by primary care physicians or at the local health department.
