Newman and Pragnell reign at East Canton High

Tyler Newman and Megan Pragnell were crowned king and queen at the East Canton Homecoming game on Friday night. They, along with their court, were recognized at the game on Saturday night at the dance.

Megan is the daughter of Sean and Cheryl Pragnell. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Interact and volleyball and softball teams.

She plans to attend The Ohio State University and major in pre-medicine to earn a degree in medical laboratory science.

Tyler Newman is the son of Rachel Krider and Rodney Newman. He is a member of the baseball team.

Following graduation, Tyler plans to attend college and major in biology and minor in education.

Senior attended Sara Gotter is the daughter of Greg Gotter and Sherry Misorski. She is a member of the yearbook and school newspaper staff. She is also active at Faith Family Church and she works at Rue 21.

Future plans for Sara are to attend Kent State University to study fashion merchandising.

Danny Miller, the son of Mike and Sandy Miller, escorted Sara. He is a member of the baseball team.

He plans to attend Belmont University to study pre-law.

Kelsea McCullough, the daughter of Kellie McCullough, was the junior attendant. She plays in the high school band's drum line and is in choral and Echoes. She is also a member of the basketball team and National Honor Society.

In the future, Kelsea would like to attend college and major in music and aviation to possibly become a pilot.

Jimmy McCain, the son of Jim McCain Sr., and Kathy Guthrie, escorted Kelsea. He is a member of the football team and Echoes.

He plans to attend the Ohio State University or Michigan State University, following high school, to study forensic chemistry or forensic psychology.

Kayla Hamilton, the daughter of Joseph Hamilton and Tabitha Hamilton, was the sophomore attendant. She is a cheerleader.

In the future, Kayla would like to attend The Ohio State University and become a photographer.

Andrew Kessler, the son of Deborah and Walter and the late Brian Kessler, escorted Kayla. He is a member of the basketball and football teams at East Canton. He plans to some day attend college and major in sports medicine.

Kaylee Gifford, the daughter of Joyce and Bill Gifford, was the freshman attended. She is a cheerleader, a member of choir and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She is also active in her church youth group.

Kaylee is not sure what she wants to do following graduation.

Hayden Demos, the son of Annette and William Demos, escorted Kaylee. He is a member of the basketball and track teams at East Canton. He also plays the saxophone in the band.

He plans to attend college in the future.
