Faircrest students receive technology grant

Published:

Students with disabilities at Faircrest Memorial Middle School recently received contributions from Time Warner Cable to promote technology access in their class room.

I-pods will be donated as well as gift cards for teachers to purchase other electronic media to assist them in their teaching. Time Warner employees will also volunteer time to help teach instructors how to use this new technology to the fullest.

A check was given to the students to fund a trip to the Great Lakes Science Center and Time Warner volunteers will accompany the students on the trip.

These gifts will greatly assist teachers as they individualize the lessons for each student based on their abilities.
