East Canton 8th graders improve village park as community service

Published:

East Canton eighth-grade students participated in the school's annual community service project earlier in the summer, during the East Canton Village Clean-up Day.

The students worked in East Canton Village Park, under the supervision of teacher David Sanblenet, as well as with several village employees. The group spread mulch in pla ground areas to make it safe for the youngsters using the equipment. They also weeded the flower beds and picked up trash in the park.
