GOSPEL SING SET FOR JUNE 29

Sandy Valley Church of God - State Route 800 SE, Magnolia is holding a Gospel Singing fundraiser on Saturday, June 29, at 6 p.m. Admission is free. Food and drinks will be available for donation. This event is hosted by the OASIS group (Older Adults Still In Service). Additional information by calling Holly at 330-484-6382.

CLOTHING GIVE-AWAY SET

A clothing give-away and soup kitchen will be held from 2-5 p.m. on Monday, July 1, at the Church of Christ in Louisville. For directions or more information call 330-875-1673.

PATRIOTIC ROSARY PLANNED

In honor of the Fourth of July, St. Mary/St. Benedict Parish will hold an evening of patriotic hymns and Rosary on July 2, at 7 p.m., at St. Mary's.

WORKERS IN GOD'S SERVICE MEET

The monthly meeting of the "Workers in God's Service" (WIGS) was held on June 17, at Christ Memorial Church in Robertsville beginning with a brown bag lunch in the downstairs social room. Eileen Lotz was hostess and provided dessert and snacks. Table grace was given by Evelyn Pikulik for the attendees. Vice President Martha Haubert had charge of the meeting in the absence of President Beverly Perry. The secretary and treasurers reports were approved as read by Dorothy Yohe and Evelyn Pikulik, respectively. Upcoming dates and activities were discussed. A variety of articles and stories were read by Mary Creighton, program chairman.
