EPWORTH TO SERVE SPAGHETTI
Waco Epworth United Methodist, in Canton Township, will hold its monthly spaghetti dinner on Friday, Jan. 11 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Carryouts will be available. Spaghetti, salad, bread, beverage, ice cream are on the menu. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children.
BETH MOORE BIBLE
STUDY BEGINS AT
MT. TABOR
In late February, a Beth Moore women's Bible study will be held at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church. The study is titled "Esther: It's Tough Being a Woman." Ruth Varian will lead the study, which will include a workbook and video to help women personally examine their lives, as they study the story of Esther. Look for more information coming.
DONATIONS
NEEDED
Donations are being accepted at Mt. Tabor of box tops for education to help Red Bird Mission in Kentucky. Box tops and labels from General Mills, Campbell's and Pepperidge Farms products are needed. Call or drop the labels off at the church office. Food items are also being accepted for Canton Calvary Mission. Mt. Tabor and East Canton Church of God are accepting food or clothing items for the community cupboard.
FUND RAISER FOR RIGHT-TO-LIFE

Bring your pot of chili or best pie to St. Mary's Social Hall on Jan. 19, by 4:30 p.m., when judging will begin. General feasting begins at 5 p.m. Prizes will be awarded in several categories. Hot dogs and beverages will be also be available. Net proceeds benefit those who wish to participate in the Right-to-Life March in Washington, D.C. On Jan. 20, a speaker from the Pregnancy Support Center of Stark County will make a presentation at the East Sparta Christian Church at 10:30 a.m.
OTTERBEIN TO HOLD HAM LOAF LUNCH
The Otterbein United Methodist Church will hold a ham loaf lunch Sunday, Jan. 20 at 11:30 am. The menu includes individual ham loaves, potatoes, vegetable, applesauce, rolls, beverages and dessert. The cost is adults, $7, children 6-12, $4 and 5 and under, free. The lunch is open to the public. Carryouts are available.
WIDOWS MIGHT
