Robertsville Grange 1784 celebrates Christmas

ROBERTSVILLE GRANGE CELEBRATES CHRISTMAS

Seventy-four persons attended the Dec. 14 meeting of Robertsville Grange. Master Bill Walter welcomed everyone, and chaplain Kay Snyder opened the meeting with prayer.

There was no business meeting. Master Walter handed out commnications to Chuck and Delores Bebout, Lillian Munk, Mary Creighton, Darla Sutton and Ila June Ramser.

Nancy Walter read the "Legend of the Candy Cane." Tim Mann sang "O Holy Night."

Nancy Walter, program chairperson, presented a skit "The Greatest Gift Ever Given," with the following participants: Dillon Walters as Joseph; Kimberly Rinehart as Mary; Nicholas Walter, Cheyenne Risher and Trynely Jordan as shepherds and Emma Bresson as an angel. Bill Walter narrated the Christmas story.

The bell choir played with 10 children participating, under the direction of Darla Sutton.

Santa made an appearance and presented gifts.

Everyone formed a friendship circle while Pat Lautzenheiser played the piano and Kay Snyder, Darla Sutton, Chris Bresson and Susan Croston sang "Silent Night."

Refreshments were served in the social room.
