CHRISTMAS BREAKFAST PLANNED

Otterbein United Methodist Church, on Shepler Church Road, will hold its annual Christmas Sunday breakfast, on Sunday, Dec. 23, beginning at 8:30 a.m. The children's Christmas party and visit with Santa will be at 9 a.m.

GOODWILL BIBLE CLASS MET

The Goodwill Bible Class of Christ Memorial Church in Robertsville, held its last social of the year on Dec. 9, with a dinner at the White House Restaurant, near Edgewater Golf Course. The dinner was following the morning worship service with dessert of ice cream and cookies served back at the church social room. Twenty adults and children attended and were seated at the tables in a beautifully decorated room with a fireplace. Following everyone ordering from the menu, Ken Flanagan offered prayer. The planning committee included Brenda Momirovic, assisted by her mother Marilyn Petroli and Mary Creighton.

SUNSHINE CIRCLE LEARNS ABOUT CANDY CANES

Sunshine Circle Guild of Christ Memorial Church, in Robertsville, held its Christmas dinner party Dec. 10, at the country home of Lynn Schaeffer near Mapleton. The home was decorated for the holiday season. Table grace was given to the 20 members and guests present by Becky Horvath. Take home favors were candy canes. Silent Sister were revealed with a gift exchange and new names were drawn for 2013. Two birthday cards were signed. Program chairperson Jennifer Schaeffer spoke on Christmas Trees and Candy Canes and symbols of Christmas and how they were related to Christian faith.

PIANIST TO BE AT

LITTLE COUNTRY CHURCH

Mike Lenox will be at Little Country Church, Sunday, December 23 at 6:00pm.

He is an accomplished pianist and will be sharing with us his talents.
