ST. JAMES TO

HOLD DINNER

On Sunday, Dec. 2, St. James Catholic Church in Waynesburg will hold a parish dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Salisbury steak or penne pasta will be served. The cost for adults will be $8 and $4 for children. Carry-out will be available.

SUNSHINE CIRCLE

MEETS AT SCHAEFFERS

Sunshine Circle of Christ Memorial Church, in Robertsville, held a monthly meeting on Nov. 12, at the country home of Lynn Schaeffer, near Mapleton, with her daughter-in-law Jennifer Schaeffer as hostess. Nine members attended the meeting. President Kay Flanagan conducted business and was program chairperson. The minutes were approved as read by assistant secretary Martha Haubert and treasurer's report was given by Gloria Richeson. Mission giving for November and December and a hat and glove project will go to Don Dewing of Midwest Indian Village.

Two birthday cards were signed for church members.

Kitchen person for the month of December was Gloria Richeson.

President Flanagan centered her program around "The History of Thanksgiving." Refreshments were served by the hostess.

CHRIST MEMORIAL

HOLDS GAME NIGHT

It was game night at Christ Memorial Church in Robertsville on Nov. 10.

Seventeen adults and children attended and enjoyed a variety of games. Carry-in refreshments of snacks, dessert and beverages were served.

The evening was planned by Pastor Charles Horvath, who was assisted by the fellowship team.
