TO MEET

The next meeting of the board of Youngstown Diocesan Council of Women will be Nov. 17 at St. Peter of the Fields in Rootstown. Doors will open at 9 a.m. with a light breakfast and the meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. There is no charge to attend but reservations are required. THANKSGIVING

DINNER SET

Saturday, Nov. 17, at 5 p.m., Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church will hold its annual Thanksgiving dinner. It will be held in the lower level which is handicap accessible. All are invited to bring a covered dish and enjoy turkey, ham and all the extras served at a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. A white elephant auction follows the meal to benefit remodeling the church kitchen.

OTTERBEIN TO HOLD LUNCH AFTER CHURCH

The Otterbein United Methodist Church will hold lunch after church on Sunday, Nov. 18, beginning at 11:30 a.m. This month's lunch will be creamed chicken on biscuit, potatoes, vegetable, applesauce, dessert and beverage. The cost is $7 for adults, $4 for children age 6-12 and free for children age 5 and under. Carry outs are available.

ST. JAMES TO

HOLD DINNER

On Sunday, Dec. 2, St. James Catholic Church in Waynesburg will hold a parish dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Salisbury steak or penne pasta will be served. The cost for adults will be $8 and $4 for children. Carry-out available.

MEN'S BREAKFAST SLATED FOR NOV. 17

The Men's breakfast devotional will be held Saturday, Nov. 17, 8 a.m. at Christ Memorial Church in Robertsville. This months program was planned by Bill Hartenstein and will feature Pastor Duane Wilbur from the Church of God in Dundee.

WIGS WILL

MEET NOV. 19

The Get-Together of the "Workers in Gods Service" of Christ Memorial Church in Robertsville will be Monday, Nov. 19, noon, beginning with a brown bag lunch at the church. Necessary business will be conducted by President Beverly Perry, program chairman is Kate Clapper and hostess is Jean Willis.
