The Canton South Rotary meets every Thursday, 7:30 a.m., at McCalls Restaurant.
The club's flag project, which has been a big success, is continuing. For $20 per year, the Rotary members will display a flag in your yard for five holidays and remove them each time.
On July 30, the Canton South Rotarians spent an evening at Jim and Nancy Abbott's home at Lake Mohawk. It was the annual meeting to pass the gavel, and this year the gavel was passed to Columbo.
New members are welcome join the group, as they work for the betterment of the community.
