BIKER SUNDAY TO BE AT CS CHURCH

OF THE NAZARENE

Biker Sunday, Aug. 15, will kick off with a pre-ride meeting at Canton First Church of the Nazarene, 522 30th St. N.W, in Canton at 9 a.m. Motorcyclists will then ride to Canton South Church of the Nazarene for worship and food. A blessing will be given and participants will ride to Louisville. Special guest speaker will be Terry Gonda, elder of the Bikers For Christ, Canton-Carrollton Chapter. The pre-ride will be at 9 a.m., worship at 10 a.m., food at noon, blessing and ride at 1 p.m.

BENEFIT BREAKFAST TO BE HELD

AT OTTERBEIN

Otterbein United Methodist Church will hold a benefit pancake breakfast on Saturday, Aug. 14, from 8-11:30 a.m. Proceeds will go toward the medical expenses of Bill Willis. He has advanced Lymphoma cancer and needs more chemotherapy and a bone-marrow transplant. His health insurance will not cover everything. He will be in Cleveland Clinic for three weeks and expenses are soaring. Donations for the breakfast: adults $6; children age 4-11, $4; and children 3 and under free. Monetary donations may be also made at any Huntington Bank.

TO BE AT SHEPHERD

OF THE VALLEY

Premier Design's line of fashion jewelry, including fall and holiday fashions and accessorizing tips will be presented at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 12, at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church. LUNCHEON SET

Canton Christian Women's Connection will hold its monthly luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, at North Canton Civic Center. The theme will be "Accessorize your life." The event will feature Shelly Davis with Cookie Lee Jewelry. Mary Thompson will speak and Pat Long will provide music. O2 MINISTRY TO HOLD CAR SHOW

The O2 Ministry will hold a car show on Sunday, August 22. There will be music, fellowship and food from 5-7 p.m. during the car show. Music will be by the O2 Ministry Worship Band. You are invited to come, bring a lawn chair and expect to have an uplifting and inspiring time. The O2 Ministry meets at T.C. Knapp Elementary School, 5151 Oakcliff St. S.W., Canton. This is just off of Perry and Navarre Road. Pastor Keith Brown is the Director of the Ministry and Drew Gilson is the Worship Leader. Services are held every Sunday night at 6 p.m. and are open to all. The O2 Ministry is an outreach of Otterbein United Methodist Church where James D. Zimmerman is the Senior Pastor. MT. TABOR TO HAVE RALLY DAY

On Sunday, Sept. 12, after worship, there will be food, fun and fellowship at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church in East Canton. The rally day theme will be "Caught Having Fun."
