The Mineral City American Legion continues to send care packages to U. S. soldiers overseas. Items needed are toothpaste, toothbrushes, Q-tips, soap, small sizes of shampoo, conditioner and lotion, peanuts, Slim Jims, Kool Aid, pencils, pens, tables, gum, magazines and hard candy.
Items can be delivered directly to the Legion or taken to the East Sparta Christian Church.
