89th LEHMILLER-THOUVENIN REUNION

The 89th Lehmiller-Thouvenin Reunion was called to order by president Greg Martz.

Darlene Martz gave the invocation after which about 130 family members enjoyed a delicious covered dish luncheon. Several more family members came later in the afternoon, bringing the total to about 145. Special family members attending from a distance were Neal Robinson from Williamsburg, Va., and his brother, David Robinson from Cudahy, Wis., Mike and Barb Baltrimis from Monroe Falls and Tom and Jean Clark from Newcomerstown.

After lunch, Greg auctioned the white elephant items and children played games with game person Cindy Thouvenin, who selected many nice prizes for them. Members played cards and bingo.

Deaths since the last reunion were Connie Blakely and Laverne Dale. New babies were Christalyn Crallie, daughter of Kyle and Tiffany Crallie, and Landrey Neice, daughter of Todd and Leslie Neice.

Gifts to the oldest man in attendance were Louie Thouvenin, age 88; oldest lady, Gertrude Thouvenin, 95, and youngest child, Chrisalyn Crallie, 5 months.

The minutes of the last meeting were read. The next reunion date will be June 26, 2011 in Murray Shelter at Sandy Valley Community Park.

Officers are president Greg Martz, vice president Cecelia Kramer, secretary-treasurer Helen Trompower and Cindy Thouvenin is in charge of games.
