David Adkins, portraying Joseph of the Bible, shared his story with the children attending Vacation Bible School at Little Country Church in Waynesburg. The event, held in June, was called “Journey to Egypt.” Participants traveled from Israel to Egypt with the Bible character and experienced the king’s place and the jail in which Joseph had to stay for several years. Snacks, Bible stories, games, crafts and a family dinner— with Egyptian food— were all a part of the fun week.
