Helping Hands seeks school supply donations

The Helping Hands Network of Waynesburg is collecting school supplies for needy families to help relieve some of the financial stress of the back-to-school time period.

The following items should be delivered by July 29 to the outreach on Main Street:

Folders with or without prongs, non-novelty erasers, Crayola crayon 8 pack, colored pencils, single subject spiral notebooks, loose leaf paper, highlighters, book bags, 3-by-5 notebooks, paper towels, markers, protractors, scissors, rulers, three-ring binders, dry-erase markers, pencils bags with zippers, tissues, pencil boxes, blue and red pens, pencils, moist towelettes and girls' and boys' underwear and socks.

Items not needed include glue, pencil cap erasers, 24 pack crayons and black pens.
