* The East Canton Citizen of the Year Contest is again being held, and 2010 marks the 20th year the East Canton Rotary has sponsored this award. Begin looking around for a person you may want to nominate for this honor. Nomination forms are available at village hall or the Foltz Community Center. The award will be given at the East Canton/Osnaburg Township Festival.
* A St. Patrick's Day Dance will be held Friday, March 19, from 8-11 p.m., at the Foltz Community Center.
* The next AARP luncheon will be held at the Foltz Center on Tuesday, March 16 ,at 11:30 a.m.
* The East Canton TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) recently elected 2010 officers. * Hey Kids! Stop by Town & Country IGA to pick up your entry for the coloring contest. Winners in age categories will be chosen by the Easter Bunny at the community egg hunt.

* Helping Hands Network Center in Waynesburg is asking for donation of the following food items: pasta, cereal, boxed dinners, soup, noodles, instant potatoes, baking and cake mixes, tuna or any non-perishable food items.
* St. Mary's of Immaculate Conception Morges, located at 8012 Bachelor Road NW in Waynesburg, is holding a craft show on Saturday, March 20, from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. Snacks will be sold by the women's club.
