Pike Historical Society thanks Grange, community

Published:

Dear friends,

We are so grateful for the support we received from our community on Oct. 20 at our pork and kraut dinner held at the Pike Grange building.

Pike Township Historical Society members alone could not do this. We have wonderful members and friends who are willing to help us.

We depend on the Grange members who cook, the kitchen staff and clean up crew.

We also appreciate friends who volunteer to work in the dining room, provide pies and run the dish washer. Some also over see the parking lot, man the carts to clear the tables, pour the coffee and orange drink.

We were able to raise over $1,000 towards the work and expenses at our log cabin.

You are welcome to attend our meeting any time. They are held the first Tuesday of every month, except in May and November, when we have to change to Monday evening at 7:30 p.m because of election days. Men, if you are handy and would enjoy working on the cabin, please contact us. We would be glad to have you.

Thank you so much. We hope to see you next year.

Kay Weisen

President
