The Volunteer Firemen of Magnolia, Inc. would like to say a big "Thanks" to everyone who patronized or participated in the Sandy and Beaver Canal Days Festival on Aug. 13, 14, and 15 despite the heat. We are very grateful to Greg Lancaster's Home Improvements for the donation of tickets for our 50/50 drawing on Aug. 15. Winner of the drawing was Susan Blake.
The Canal Days festival is a joint effort of the Sandy & Beaver Canal Society, the Magnolia Lion's Club and the Magnolia Fire Department.
We would also like to especially thank Claudia Roger and Jean Robertson for their help in our dessert stand. It was very much appreciated!
Also we are grateful to those who donated pies and cakes and desserts to our fireman's eat stand. We surely have some of the best bakers in Ohio living in our area!
Our thanks, also to all the businesses who make this weekend possible. We hope everyone had as good a time as we did serving you, and hope to see you next year.
